It's a COMPETITION!

HOT GAY DJ is a new project from Mirateca Arts, producers of the very successful Gay Top Model, amongst many other exciting events. The first year of the project will see a Vancouver DJ receive the title of Vancouver’s HOT GAY DJ. In the summer of 2010, up to a dozen DJs will spin to be on top! Music industry professionals, promoters and the audience all have a chance to vote. At the end of the day, only one can be Vancouver’s HOT GAY DJ.

Entrance by donations to our charities Friends for Life Society, HIM Health Initiative for Men, QMUNITY BC's Queer resource Centre, Team Vancouver and the Vancouver Pride Society.

The project is now accepting partners & sponsors from the media world, clubs, equipment, promotions, etc. If you want to be a part of it, we will find a way to make it work both ways. 5-YEAR PLAN

As long as the interest and support exists the plan for HOT GAY DJ is to do a local Vancouver competition every 2 years; in the alternating year (2011, 2013) we welcome DJs from the partnering venues across the country and award the title of Canada's HOT GAY DJ.
